US Election 2024:
The View from Michigan

The 2024 US presidential election is one of the most decisive elections in decades. On the ballot paper, Americans are being asked to choose between the neoliberal status quo, under Kamala Harris, and the far-right nationalist candidate, Donald Trump.
For all the punditry and polemic spilled on this election, how do activists on the ground view the two candidates? How has the rhetoric of both campaigns filtered down into communities in the key swing states in the USA? And how will the result of the election shape the responses of those organising against the capitalist state?
Join us for an evening's discussion with activists from across Michigan to hear their views on the US election, ask questions about the result, and together consider what the consequences of this might mean for the USA, Europe and the world.
